Last Thursday was Sawyer's Halloween Party at school. He had a great time. As you can see, he was Woody! This year, Matt thought we should let Sawyer decide what he wanted to be. At one time he wanted to be Dash from "The Incredibles", then Charlie Brown, then a pirate....well, you get the idea! So, last week I took him to Party City where he sees the Buzz costume. He decided that's what he wanted. We got home, and he hated it!! Luckily, we already had the Woody costume, which he had gotten for his birthday. We asked him if he would rather be Woody and he agreed. I'm glad he changed his mind, because I think his Woody costume turned out really cute! If you look closely, you will see he doesn't have a gun in his holster. That's because Woody didn't carry a gun. I didn't realize it until a friend pointed it out to me. Enough about the history of how Sawyer's costume came to be!
We had a great time at the party! We played games, ate, trick-or-treated throughout the school and got lots of candy and treats! One of his classmates, Katelyn, brought pumpkins to ALL the kids in their class, which I thought was such a cute idea.
All the kids seemed to have a great time!
